History
Team Hogan racing was established in the summer of 2005 after Christopher and Kaitlyn's mom, Amy, read
racing legend Tony Stewart's book True Speed. Tony talked about racing as a kid and Amy decided
to look into a safe form of racing for kids. She found Quarter Midgets and the Hogan's went racing. Subsequently,
Christopher and Kaitlyn always thank Tony Stewart for getting their start in the sport they love.
Kaitlyn started racing Quarter Midgets at
age twelve and Christopher at age five. They raced at the Lone Star Quarter Midget Track located in Comanche
Park in San Antonio, Texas and River City QMA in Austin, Texas. They also traveled all over the United States to
attend regional and national Quarter Midget races.
In 2011 Christopher was the Texas State Bandolero Bandit Champion, the 2011
Thunderhill Raceway Bandolero Champion and placed 2nd in the 2011 Summer Stampede Series at Texas Motor Speedway. Nationally
he finished 8th in points in the US Legends cars Bandolero Bandit National Series.
In 2012, Christopher will be racing his Legend car at Houston Motorsports Park,
Texas Motor Speedway, Red River Speedway and Revolution Motorsports Park in Monroe, LA, and at many other tracks through
out the United States. In addition, he will be racing an Allison Legacy at Houston Motorsports Park and road course
racing at Grandsports Speedway in Hitchcock, Tx. Plans are also in the works to purchase a Sports Modified to
race at Thunderhill Speedway in Kyle, TX.
Although Kaitlyn no longer races she is still heavily involved in the sport. From 2009 to 2011
she was a INEX Tech at Houston Motorsports Park and Thunderhill Raceway. In 2012 she will be a NASCAR Official at Houston
Motorsports Park working in the tower. She is also a valuable crew member, assisting in every aspect to help
further her brother's racing ambitions.
