Team Hogan racing was established in the summer of 2005 after Amy Hogan, Christopher
and Kaitlyn's mom, read racing legend Tony Stewart's book True Speed. Tony talked about racing as a child
and Amy decided to look into a safe form of racing for kids. She found Quarter Midgets and the Hogan's went racing.
Subsequently, Christopher and Kaitlyn always thank Tony Stewart for getting their start in the sport they love.
Kaitlyn started racing Quarter Midgets at age twelve and Christopher at age
five. They raced at the Lone Star Quarter Midget Track located in Comanche Park in San Antonio, Texas and River City
QMA in Austin, Texas. They also traveled all over the United States to attend regional and national Quarter Midget races.
In 2012 Christopher, at the young age of twelve, began racing the very
powerful Legend car. All his prior racing experience made his rookie season a great success. Christopher was the 2012
Houston Motorsports Park Legends Car Rookie of the year and he finish 3rd in Legends points. He also finished 2nd in Texas
Motor Speedway Legends Young Lions and was ranked 25th nationally by US Legends cars.
In 2013, Christopher finished as the Houston
Motorsports Park Legend Young Lions Champion and the Texas State Legend Young Lions Champion. In addition, he finished 2nd
Legends Young Lions at Texas Motor Speedway, and was ranked 10th nationally in the Legend Young Lions class.
In 2014 Christopher was the Pro Legend Class Rookie of the year and Champion
at Houston Motorsports Park.
In 2015 Christopher raced a NASCAR truck at Houston Motorsports Park and a Pro-Modified at Central
Texas Speedway. He also raced a Micro at dirt tracks through out South Texas. He was awarded the UNOH Youth Achievement
award for his Rookie of the year in NASCAR trucks at HMP and 3rd in points in trucks. In addition, Christopher also
was the Central Texas Speedway 2015 Rookie of the year in Pro-Modifieds and finish the season 3rd in points. In 2016
Christopher continues to race his Pro-Modified at Central Texas Speedway and hopes to be able to race at 5 Flags Speedway
in Pensacola Florida.
In 2016 Christopher is racing his Pro-Modified in Texas
and around the U.S.. Christopher's ultimate goal is to race Pro and Super Late Models, and of course, move into Nascar
Sprint Cup racing.
Kaitlyn no longer races she is still heavily involved in the sport. In 2013, Kaitlyn became a NASCAR timing and scoring
Official for the Sprint Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series. From 2009 to 2011 she was
a INEX Tech at Houston Motorsports Park and Thunderhill Raceway. In 2012 she was a NASCAR Official at Houston Motorsports
Park working in the tower. She is also a valuable crew member, assisting in every aspect to help further her brother's
